Holger Nobach

holger Holger Nobach received his doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Rostock in 1997. During his postdoctoral research, between 1998 and 2000 on an industrial research program with Dantec Dynamics in Copenhagen and between 2000 and 2005 at the Technical University of Darmstadt, he developed measurement techniques for flow investigations. Since 2005 he is a scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization, at the Cornell University and Göttingen. In 2007 he habilitated at University of Darmstadt.
He works on experimental investigation of turbulent flows with improved and extended optical measurement systems. His interests are optical measurement techniques signal, image and data processing, Raleigh Bernard convection.
