Welcome to the Department of Fluid Physics, Pattern Formation, and Biocomplexity at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization in Göttingen, Germany. We are investigating the dynamics of a variety of complex nonlinear systems both experimentally and theoretically. The science in the laboratory is focused on Fluid Physics and Quantitative Biology.
