Holger Nobach
Dr.-Ing. habil. Holger Nobach received his doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Rostock in 1997. During his postdoctoral research at Dantec Dynamics in Copenhagen (Denmark) and at the Technical University of Darmstadt, he developed measurement techniques for flow investigations. Since 2005 he has been a group leader at the institute with a research visit at Cornell University (NY, USA). In 2007, he received the habilitation in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. He works on optical and electric measurement techniques, signal processing and statistics of homogeneous turbulence. Since January 2018 he leads the Research Unit Electronics.
