Chien-Chia Liu
I majored in mechanical engineering at the National Central University in Taiwan from 2000 to 2011. My master and PhD theses focused on experimental studies respectively on the featureless turbulence of Taylor-Couette flow and on the flame initiation and propagation of turbulent premixed combustion. In 2012 I became a postdoc in the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, where my research focused on the quasi-two-dimensional turbulence. In 2017 I joined the institute as a postdoc to research on Rayleigh-Bénard convection.
